The art of sandblasting glass, whether it be lightly etched or deeply carved, is a remarkably beautiful, and demanding one. I truly feel that I have been given a gift: I completely understand the medium, with all its complexities and nuances; I am capable of executing the most sophisticated techniques at the most advanced levels; and, perhaps most importantly, I am able to communicate these skills to others.
As a teacher of sandblasting, I remain completely committed to creating a warm, open, challenging learning environment. Whether I am teaching an individual in a one-on-one setting, or heading up a small, intensive seminar, the goal is for each student to learn just as much as he or she wants and is able to absorb—and to have fun!

If sandblasting is a hobby or a sideline, then I want your learning environment to be enjoyable and stimulating. But if you are a professional blaster, or wanting to become one, then for those students, I pledge to pass on all of the knowledge that I have accumulated in my more than sixteen years as a working blaster. I promise to teach you everything that I know about equipment, materials, techniques, and display options. Beyond that, I will share with you all of what I know about attracting and educating customers, pricing, advertising, and what ever other tips you might be looking for when starting or growing your sandblasting business. I promise to hold nothing back both with the constructive advice I give, and to share in the many mistakes that I have made over the years, in the hopes that you, too, will not have to learn those lessons the hard way. All of this I pledge to my students, in the hopes that by my instruction, I can help advance the exposure, artistic appreciation, and financial remuneration of this art form that I love so much.
